What does server mean
It is a computer that performs a service for other computers on the internet.
It may "serve" (here ya are!) a web page from a pantry of web pages to your computer.
It may "serve" a destination route when one computer comes asking where a website is located.
It may "serve" the "real name" when someone has set up an "alias" for a website name.
