Why IP settings always offline or always go offline

IP settings aren't on line or off line, they're just there. If you mean that your browser goes off line even if you tell it to go on line, it's because the computer doesn't have an internet connection. the wire may be there, but the computer isn't seeing the internet. without knowing what equipment you have, no one can even guess at what the problem is.

What does server mean

What does server mean

It is a computer that performs a service for other computers on the internet.

It may "serve" (here ya are!) a web page from a pantry of web pages to your computer.

It may "serve" a destination route when one computer comes asking where a website is located.

It may "serve" the "real name" when someone has set up an "alias" for a website name.

It may "serve" you a copy of your email, or "serve" a copy of the email you just sent to somewhere else...

...and like that. (And you don't even have to leave a tip.)

and server got several services,for example:Application server,Communications server,Database server,Proxy server,Fax server,File server,Print server,Game server,Web server and so on.
